Our aim is to help raise and increase awareness of the choices that are now available for bereaved pet owners. We are a family unit supporting yours when you need us.

With our experience over many years helping bereaved families at our Stonemasons, we understand the importance of a final goodbye.
We guarantee your pet will be cremated individually in our fully DEFRA approved crematorium based in Verwood near Ringwood. Rest assured your pet will be in our care from the moment we pick them up to the moment the ashes are returned.
Why choose us?
Due to more and more enquiries for pet memorials, we have heard several cremation stories where the service was much less than satisfactory. We looked deeper into this and found pets were being sent miles away for cremation with long waits for ashes to be returned.
So we decided, we could do better and thus Dorset Pet Cremations was born. We would not place your pet in a plastic bag. We will transport pets in an individual bed (or their own if provided) for their final journey. We are a small family unit, personally looking after your beloved pet, not a large commercial enterprise. Your pet will be treated individually with care and compassion and we feel that 3 days is ample time for ashes to be ready and returned. If you wish for us to collect your pet from your vets, just let us know and we can make all the arrangements.

Collection
We can collect your pet from your home or Veterinary Practice. Should you wish to bring your pet to us call ahead and we can make everything ready for you.

Cremation
We guarantee your pet will be individually cremated. The service will take place within 3 days to provide time for our families to process the options available.

Ashes
You are welcome to collect your pet’s ashes directly from us or alternatively we can deliver them to you at home. Make arrangements with us at any point during the process.
